Context

A festival for the live arts.

Vasarely Experience is a festival that promotes the live arts, music and dance. It took place at the Fondation Vasarely on Saturday 9 May 2026, and about 1,000 people came on the day.

The identity mixes three languages: comic art, risograph illustration and neo-futurism. The Foundation and its facade of large circles run through the illustrations, drawn rather than quoted.

The system

A wordmark, a short mark, five colours.

Vasarely Experience logotype in red on orange, and the short mark V-XP in orange on red.
Colour palette: orange, blood orange, sky blue, cream white and black.
Typography: Bilo Bold and Bilo Regular.

Illustration

Comic art, risograph grain, a building as a character.

Four illustrations: the Foundation seen from two angles, a figure carrying the festival tote bag, and the poster with a giant V over a road.
Three programme illustrations: Performances, with a hand, a synthesiser and a guitar; Activations collectives, with a runner; Le Village, with a food truck.
